Creating the optimal conditions to capture your therapy session with Sensi
Some small but important best practices can contribute to a successful capturing of your Sensi session:
A stable WIFI connection
Your Sensi device will only work with your organization's networks and can not be moved to a different Wi-Fi connection.
Please also make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection. You can identify network issues if the light on top of your Sensi device changes to yellow or blue.
If you are having consistent trouble with your Wi-Fi connection, we recommend contacting your IT department or looping them in here. We have seen other clients resolve these types of issues by setting up a Wi-Fi booster in close proximity.
A steady power supply
The easiest way to ensure a steady power supply is to plug it directly into a wall outlet.
Plugging your Sensi into a laptop or a power strip can potentially cause issues, as the Sensi requires a steady power source to function correctly.
A central placement of the device
We recommend placing your Sensi device in a central location close to you and your client. It should not be placed more than 8 feet away.
A quiet location
We know this may not always be possible, but to create the optimal conditions for Sensi it is helpful to avoid any background noise or music during your session.

Things to keep in mind during your session
It is essential to follow the correct workflow to start and end your sessions. For details, please see this article: π‘ How to use your Sensi device.
Session length
For a successful analysis, Eleos requires at least 10 minutes of cumulative conversation during the session.
Paying attention to the light on top of your device
Please ensure the light on top of the Sensi device turns green when you turn the device on with the switch on the cord before you start your session.
If the light changes from green to white, yellow, or blue, this can indicate a network issue. However, intermittent red flashes during the session are standard and not a sign of a technical problem.
Ending your session
To end your session, please click the End session button in the Eleos overlay and turn off the Sensi device with the switch on the power cord.
These steps are crucial to prevent the Sensi device from capturing audio outside the actual session with your client. You can verify that the Sensi device is off, if you cannot see a light on top of the device.
Your session analysis will become available in the Eleos overlay in just a few minutes after you hit the End session button.
Before leaving the office for the day
Before leaving your office for the day, please check on your Sensi device and ensure it has been turned off after your last session. You can easily identify if the Sensi device is still on by checking whether the light on top is still lit up in green. If you notice the light on top of the Sensi device is still on, please turn the device off with the switch on the cord or by unplugging it.
