You can find the version as follows:

1. In the top right corner, click the three dots (⋮) to open the menu.

2. Select Help > About Google Chrome

3. You will then see the current version (see below)

How to update the Google Chrome Browser

Keeping your browser up to date helps it run smoothly and securely. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open Chrome on your computer.

2. In the top right corner, click the three dots (⋮) to open the menu.

3. Select Help > About Google Chrome.

4. Chrome will automatically check for updates. If an update is available, click Update Google Chrome.

   • Don’t see this option? That means you’re already on the latest version.

5. Once the update is complete, click Relaunch to restart Chrome.

Chrome will reopen your tabs and windows just as you left them—except for Incognito windows, which won’t reopen automatically. If you’d rather wait, click Not now. The update will apply the next time you restart Chrome.
